A Word About Packages Before You Dive In
The 2026 Trax lineup is already well-equipped at every trim level. Packages are genuine additions - not features that should have been standard. The Sunroof Package adds a panoramic roof and wireless charging. The Driver Confidence Package adds adaptive cruise and blind zone alert. The Midnight Edition completely transforms the look of the LT.
Worth knowing: some packages have dependencies. The Midnight Edition requires the LT Convenience Package first. The Blackout Package on the LS requires the LS Convenience Package. We'll flag those clearly so there are no surprises when you're configuring your order.
Our recommendation is always to start with the trim that fits your budget and lifestyle, then layer in the packages that actually match how you use the vehicle. A sunroof matters a lot if you drive PCH on weekends. Adaptive cruise control matters a lot if you're on the 8 or the 5 every day.

Midnight Edition New 2026
The Midnight Edition is the most talked-about addition to the 2026 Trax lineup. Available exclusively on the LT trim, it takes an already great vehicle and gives it a completely blacked-out personality that turns heads wherever it goes.

Apex Red with the Midnight Edition is the combination we see people stop dead in their tracks over - the contrast between the deep red and full black trim is genuinely striking. Mosaic Black Metallic gives you the full stealth look if you want to go all-in. Summit White and Marina Blue Metallic both pair cleanly with the black details without competing with them.
Sunroof Package
One of our most requested packages - and one that makes particular sense in San Diego. With 300+ days of sunshine, a panoramic sunroof isn't a luxury - it's a genuinely enjoyable daily feature.

Good to Know
The wireless charging pad is included with the Sunroof Package and cannot be added any other way. The panoramic glass has UV filtering so the interior stays cooler than you might expect on hot San Diego days. On the ACTIV, the sunroof and roof rails coexist - you don't have to choose between them.
Driver Confidence Package
The Trax already comes with Chevy Safety Assist standard on every trim. The Driver Confidence Package takes it further - adding features that are especially useful for San Diego's busy freeways and surface streets.

Before You Order
The Driver Confidence Package is available on all five trims with no prerequisites. Chevy Safety Assist (Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Forward Collision Alert) comes standard on every Trax already. The Driver Confidence Package adds the next tier - adaptive cruise, blind zone, and rear park assist.
Convenience Packages
There are two separate Convenience Packages - one for the LS and one for the LT. They're not interchangeable. Here's what each one adds and why they matter.

Good to Know
If the Midnight Edition is on your radar, the LT Convenience Package is not optional - it must be added before the Midnight Edition becomes available. Remote vehicle start on both packages is especially practical in San Diego summers - pre-cooling a car that's been sitting in a La Mesa parking lot in July makes a real difference.
Blackout Package
A more accessible version of the blacked-out look - available on the LS and LT. Not as comprehensive as the Midnight Edition, but a meaningful exterior upgrade for buyers who want a sportier appearance without the full LT Midnight Edition commitment.

Pairs Well With
The Blackout Package works best with colors where black trim creates contrast rather than blending in. Apex Red and Marina Blue Metallic both pop against the blacked-out badges and trim. Summit White gives a clean two-tone look. If you're on the LT and want to go further than the Blackout Package allows, that's when the Midnight Edition conversation starts.
