Bo Horsley was born in New Jersey but raised in San Diego — Golden Hill, specifically — and at 46 years in this city, he's a San Diegan in every way that matters.
His path to Bob Stall, though, ran through a friendship. Alan Dobbins, Bob Stall's Parts Manager, has been Bo's friend for years. They'd worked together before. Bo had told himself a long time ago that if he ever had the chance to work with Alan again, he wouldn't pass it up. So when Alan called in 2010, the answer was already waiting.
Fifteen years later, Bo is still at the same parts counter — and still happy he made the call.
What's kept him here besides the friendship? In his own words: the owners are genuinely involved and take the time to say hello. The General Manager runs a welcoming workplace. Alan is, hands down, the best manager he's ever worked with. And his coworkers in the parts department make the work itself fun. Bob Stall's parts department is led by Alan Dobbins — Bo's longtime friend and the manager who brought him onto the team. Two parts professionals who've worked together for years, behind one counter, running a family-owned dealership's parts operation.

Bo has been in San Diego for 46 years — born in New Jersey but raised in Golden Hill from a young age. Today he lives in Encanto, which keeps his commute short — the kind of short that turns a good morning into a great one.
What he loves about San Diego is the easy stuff: the short drive to work, the great weather, and a city that knows its way around a great brewery.
When customers ask for a recommendation, Bo sends them to North Park. Breweries, food, and the kind of neighborhood atmosphere where you can spend the whole day without trying. He'd know — he spends a fair number of his weekends sampling the latest local taprooms.
Working out of La Mesa keeps him a short hop from home and within easy reach of customers across San Diego County.

Outside of work, Bo gardens — and grows his own fruit trees. There's something appropriate about a parts guy spending his free time with stuff that takes years to come in. Patience pays off in both jobs.
He's also got a real soft spot for his round toe cowboy boots — he'll tell you about them if you ask — and a habit of laughing his way through most conversations. On weekends, when he's not in the garden or at home with his wife, you'll find him sampling whatever the latest local brewery has on tap.
His own garage is split between two enthusiast Chevys: a 2021 Colorado ZR2 — the off-road truck, for the days he wants to go somewhere the pavement doesn't — and a 2017 Corvette Grand Sport Collector's Edition — the days he wants to go somewhere fast. Two very different ways to enjoy the brand he works for.
