Meet Adam

He Was a Blackjack Dealer for Ten Years.

Adam Hassin spent ten years dealing blackjack in San Diego before he ever sold a car. Ten years of reading rooms, staying calm under pressure, and handling money in front of people. The skills travel.

Before that, he grew up in Bullhead City — a small town in the northwest corner of Arizona, right on the Colorado River. Eighteen years on the river, with summers spent jumping into the water from the bank. Then he moved to San Diego in his late teens. That was 26 years ago. He hasn't left.

Adam joined Bob Stall as a Sales Manager in January 2026. He'll be the first to tell you he's the newest member of the management team — but he's not new to automotive sales. He's been doing this work in San Diego for 13 years and brings GM Certified credentials to the role. Customers come to him for the full range: new or used vehicles, financing questions, the kind of guidance a Sales Manager is in the right seat to provide.

What he likes about Bob Stall is the same thing every long-tenured team member here says. It's family-owned. It feels like home. After dealing blackjack and selling cars across San Diego for over two decades combined, he's seen enough rooms to know the difference.

"Treat people as individuals, not just transactions."

— Adam Hassin, Sales Manager

Adam's approach to building trust on the sales floor — and a useful posture for someone who spent ten years sitting across from gamblers at a blackjack table. The job isn't about the hand. It's about the person playing it.

Expertise

Thirteen Years in Sales. Plus Ten on the Felt.

Adam's path to sales management came through a different kind of customer service — ten years as a blackjack dealer locally in San Diego, then 13 years in automotive. Both jobs are mostly about reading people, calming the room, and being straight when it counts. Customers come to him for new or used vehicles, financing questions, and the kind of guidance that comes from a Sales Manager who has spent over two decades sitting across from people who needed help making a decision.

The Sales Floor

What You Get Working With Adam.

Adam joined Bob Stall's management team in January 2026 — one of three Sales Managers alongside Billy Shaw and Ali. The team handles deals across the entire floor, with Adam particularly engaged on new and used inventory questions, financing, and customers who want a manager's perspective on what makes sense for them.

"Trust by treating people as individuals."

Adam's approach is straightforward and rooted in 23 combined years of high-stakes customer interaction — ten dealing blackjack, 13 in automotive. He treats every customer as a person, not a transaction. After this long working in front of people, the formula isn't complicated. It's about reading the room, answering questions clearly, and making sure the customer leaves with the right vehicle and the financing that makes sense for them.

Bob Stall is a family-owned dealership — one of the last independent franchises in San Diego. The sales floor operates on a long-game principle: take care of the customer this time, they'll be back for the next one.

Local Connection

From the Colorado River to El Cajon.

Adam grew up in Bullhead City — a small town in the northwest corner of Arizona, right on the Colorado River. Eighteen years on the river. Summers spent jumping into the water from the bank. He moved to San Diego in his late teens and never left. Twenty-six years here now, currently in El Cajon.

What he loves about San Diego, in his exact words: "There is no better place to live than San Diego. Let's Go Padres." That sums it up.

When customers ask Adam for recommendations, he'll send them in two directions. First: Torrey Pines. The course, the views, the kind of round you remember. (He'll also probably offer to play with you.) Second: Petco Park for a Padres game. Most of his off-the-clock free time goes to one of those two places.

Working out of La Mesa keeps him a short freeway run from El Cajon and central to customers across San Diego County.

Favorite Local Spots

  • Torrey Pines — golf, views, the round you remember
  • Petco Park — Padres games on repeat

Where He's Based

  • Lives in El Cajon
  • 26 years in San Diego
  • From Bullhead City, AZ — on the Colorado River
  • Works in La Mesa — central county
Outside of Work

Torrey Pines and Petco Park.

Outside of work, Adam's free time is concentrated in two places. Torrey Pines for golf. Petco Park for Padres games. Two specific places, repeatedly. The kind of routine that suggests genuine enjoyment, not pretense.

Twenty-three combined years across the blackjack table and the sales floor add up to a lot of evenings spent reading people. The golf course is where he stops reading anyone and just plays the round.
