Bob Stall Chevrolet Supports Feeding San Diego: Helping Military Families & Neighbors Fight Hunger

Together We Feed San Diego: A Message from Bob Stall Chevrolet

For more than fifty years, Bob Stall Chevrolet has been part of the San Diego community. We’ve seen this city through its share of challenges — from economic shifts to government shutdowns — and we’ve seen the resilience of the people who make San Diego home.

As someone who proudly represents Bob Stall Chevrolet, I can tell you that our team doesn’t just sell cars; we care deeply about our community. When our neighbors struggle, we feel it too — especially the military families, federal employees, and working parents who have always been at the heart of this area.

That’s why this season, we’ve partnered with Feeding San Diego to help drive out hunger and give back to the people who give so much to our city.

Why We Chose Feeding San Diego

Feeding San Diego provides more than 29 million meals each year through over 300 local partners like charities, schools, and community centers

They focus on rescuing high-quality food before it’s wasted — 92 percent of what they distribute is recovered from local farms, grocers, and distributors. That work not only helps families in need but also prevents over 27,600 metric tons of CO₂ emissions every year.

Since their founding, they’ve delivered more than 388 million meals and proven that by coming together, we can protect both people and the planet.

When we learned how many active-duty service members, veterans, and federal workers rely on Feeding San Diego to help bridge the gap, we knew this was a cause we had to stand behind.

How You Can Help

We’re inviting everyone in the Bob Stall family to join us in supporting this important mission:

Our Promise to the Community

Through the years, we’ve seen firsthand how neighbors come together during tough times — and this campaign is our way of doing the same.

How Chevy Financing Works: Lease, Buy, Rates, and Current Offers

By Rebecca Coates Lapidario | July 2, 2026 Wondering how Chevy financing actually works? At Bob Stall Chevrolet, our family-owned team in La Mesa makes it simple - we explain leasing, buying, rates, and every number before you sign, so you can drive home with confidence and no surprises. more BLOCK 2 of 2 Lease vs. buy: which is right for you? The first big choice in Chevy financing is whether to lease or buy. Both are good options. The right one depends on how you drive and what you want long term. Leasing usually means a lower monthly payment and a newer vehicle every few years. You return it when the term ends. It fits drivers who like the latest features and a predictable budget. Buying means the vehicle is yours once the loan is paid off. There is no mileage limit, and you build ownership over time. It fits drivers who keep their vehicles for years. Leasing vs. Buying a Chevy at a Glance What to weigh Leasing Buying Monthly payment Usually lower Usually higher At the end of the term Return it or buy it The vehicle is yours Mileage Set yearly limit No limit Up-front cost Often lower Often a larger down payment Best if you Like a new vehicle every few years Plan to keep it long term What affects your rate and payment A few things shape your monthly payment and your interest rate. Knowing them helps you plan before you ever walk in. Credit: a stronger credit history often means a lower rate. Loan term: a longer term lowers the monthly payment but adds interest over time. Down payment: more money up front means you finance less. Trade-in: the value of your current vehicle can reduce what you owe. Our team is happy to walk through each of these with you. Chevy Tahoe vs Suburban full-size SUVs parked side by side at Bob Stall Chevrolet in La Mesa CA

Chevy Tahoe vs Suburban: Which Full-Size SUV Is Right for You?

By Rebecca Coates Lapidario | July 7, 2026 Trying to decide on a Chevy Tahoe vs Suburban? You are not alone. Both are full-size Chevy SUVs with room for the whole family, and they share a lot. The main difference is size. Here is a simple, no-pressure look to help you pick the right one. more BLOCK 2 of 2 Tahoe vs. Suburban: the short answer When folks ask us about the Chevy Tahoe vs Suburban, here is the quick version. Both are full-size SUVs, and both are assembled in Arlington, Texas. They look alike and feel alike to drive. The Suburban is the longer one. That extra length means more cargo room behind the third row. The Tahoe is a bit shorter, so it can be a little easier to park and maneuver. If you want maximum space, lean Suburban. If you want full-size capability that fits your garage and daily errands a touch better, lean Tahoe. Both are great choices. Chevy Tahoe vs. Suburban at a Glance Feature Tahoe Suburban Type Full-size SUV Full-size SUV (longer) Seating Up to 8-9 Up to 8-9 Cargo behind 3rd row Generous More, since it is longer Towing Strong Strong Best for Full-size capability that is a bit easier to park Maximum passenger and cargo space Space and seating Both SUVs seat the same number of people. Each one can seat up to 8 or 9, depending on how you configure the seats. So for passengers, it is close to a tie. Need a bench seat in the middle row? You can get up to nine seats. Prefer captain's chairs? You can have those too. The difference shows up behind the third row. Because the Suburban is longer, it gives you more cargo room back there. That is handy when the seats are full and you still need space for luggage, sports gear, or groceries. The Tahoe still offers generous cargo space for most families. It is simply a bit shorter overall. Tahoe: full-size room with a slightly smaller footprint. Suburban: the most cargo space behind the third row. Both: seating for up to 8 or 9, your choice of layout. Want to see how the Tahoe is set up this year? Take a look at our 2026 Chevrolet Tahoe page for the details. Capability and towing Both the Tahoe and the Suburban offer strong towing for a full-size SUV. They are built to handle a trailer, a boat, or a camper for weekend trips around San Diego and beyond. We keep this part simple on purpose. Exact towing and capability numbers depend on the engine, trim, and equipment you pick. For the precise figures, please confirm them on the model page or over at chevrolet.com. Better yet, tell our team what you plan to tow. We will help you match the right setup. Which one should you choose? Here is how we think about the Chevy Tahoe vs Suburban question. Choose the Tahoe if you want full-size capability in a package that is a bit easier to park and live with day to day. Choose the Suburban if you want the most passenger and cargo space Chevy offers in this class. Still not sure? That is what we are here for. The best way to decide is to sit in both and take a test drive. You can browse our current inventory to see what is on the lot right now.
