Bob Stall Chevrolet Disabled Customer Accommodation Policy – Temporary Hand Controls/Adaptive Driving Devices
“Bob Stall Chevrolet is committed to providing excellent customer service for all of its customers. We have established a policy to provide temporary hand controls [and/or range of Adaptive Driving Devices] for qualified, disabled customers so they can test-drive vehicles before purchasing them.
To test-drive a vehicle using temporary hand controls [and/or Adaptive Driving Devices], please first contact Dave Olds, Billy Shaw or Richard Larson in person or by phone or email at(619)460-1311 (DavidO@BobStall.com; BShaw@BobStall.com; RichardLarson@BobStall.com) to make arrangements. While there is no additional charge for the use of hand controls [and/or range of Adaptive Driving Devices], they will be provided on a reservation basis only. While we will use good faith efforts to satisfy every request to test drive a vehicle with hand controls [and/or Adaptive Driving Devices], please allow us a reasonable time - at least 2 days (Monday thru Friday) - to install the device(s) on a vehicle of your preferred choice. We cannot permit the installation of any hand control devices supplied by the customer or any other third party.
Please be advised you may be asked what hand-controls or other devices you are used to and if you are certified to use them, and provide proof of certification prior to a test drive. We may also ask you to fill out a questionnaire prior to taking a test drive. All of the preceding is aimed at accommodating all of our customers as reasonably, efficiently, and safely as possible. Often times a request, fulfillment and/or installation process for temporary hand controls [and/or Adaptive Driving Devices] can be subject to delays which are beyond our control. There may be some manufacturers and models that such devices cannot be installed on due to circumstance beyond Bob Stall Chevrolets control. We look forward to serving you and earning your business.”
